Every little tactic that can create enough interest to get that valuable extra opt in to your offer and/or add one more potential customer to your list is well worth examining and this particular tool (given its very modest one-off cost) is no exception.
You’ve been seeing this tool in operation more and more and if you aren’t using it — you are missing out…

SHOCK HORROR: Using pop ups effectively! Surely pop ups died a death after they saturated the web afew years back and managed to piss everyone and their uncle off?
True the old fashioned pop ups much loved by exploitative sites were a royal pain that deserved to die – and they have been pretty much killed off by the wide variety of pop up blockers built into browsers and toolbars all over the place these days. Nowadays only a few behind-the times and sad forgotten sites still use olf fashioned pop ups (or of course sites that may feature dubious content of one kind or another – I’m told – because naturally I’d NEVER visit them!).
But tests have shown that a ‘new’, modern, unblockable and ‘visitor friendly’ pop ups can rescue many potentially lost sales and also be used to explode that increasingly essential opt in list…
